Last Updated: January 15, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our platform.
2. Nature of Services
Stawry provides administrative and advocacy services to audit, analyze, and negotiate medical bills on your behalf. It is important to understand:
- We do not guarantee any specific bill reductions or resolutions
- We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice
- We are not a debt settlement agency
- Results vary based on individual circumstances, provider policies, and other factors beyond our control
3. Eligibility & Bill Requirements
To be eligible for our negotiation services, your medical bills must meet the following criteria:
- Not currently in collections or active litigation
- Less than 24 months old from the date of service
- Itemized with applicable medical codes
- Submitted by the patient or an authorized representative
4. Fees, Billing & Payment
Our fees cover account access, bill review, and negotiation services. Fees are earned upon initiation of services, regardless of the outcome of negotiations. Current pricing is disclosed at checkout prior to purchase.
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. You are responsible for providing accurate and current payment information.
5. Automatic Renewal & Cancellation
Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing help@stawry.com.
Cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund the current billing term. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
6. Refund Policy
Services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. Refunds may be considered at our discretion in the following cases:
- Requests made within seventy-two (72) hours of purchase, provided no work has been initiated on your case
- Exceptional circumstances evaluated on a case-by-case basis
7. Privacy & Health Information
We handle your personal and health-related information in compliance with HIPAA and applicable California medical privacy laws. By using our services, you authorize us to communicate with your healthcare providers on your behalf pursuant to a separate HIPAA authorization form.
For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
8. User Responsibilities
As a user of our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your medical bills
- Respond promptly to requests for additional documentation
- Pay your healthcare providers directly for any amounts owed after negotiation
- Not use our platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
9. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to our platform or other users.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stawry's total liability arising from any claim related to your use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Stawry in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
In no event shall Stawry be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stawry, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
By using our services, you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Stawry.
